The Fenwick High School academic curriculum is designed to build upon and prepare the whole student beginning with classroom instruction.
Five academic credit courses must be taken each year; a sixth and/or seventh academic subject may be taken by students who qualify. Students in the Classes of 2025 and 2026 need 22 credits for graduation. Students in the Classes of 2027 and 2028 will need 23 credits for graduation. Please explore Fenwick's Curriculum Guide, linked below, to learn more about Fenwick's core and elective course offerings and academic requirements.

Fenwick offers an honors program for students of exceptional ability. Individual departments set criteria in honors level classes. It is important that a student chooses a course not for its weighted grade, but rather because of sincere interest in the course content and its applicability to the student's future academic pursuits. Fenwick also participates in the Advanced Placement (AP) program.
