  • Fenwick High School is pleased to announce The Roger Finnell '59 Merit Scholarship Program.

    Fenwick is very pleased to announce a new scholarship program for this upcoming admissions season that will also enhance student and family support: The Roger Finnell '59 Merit Scholarship Program! This program will award merit scholarships for all admissions testers who score in the 95th to 99th percentile!
The Roger Finnell '59 Fenwick Merit Scholarship Program is a tribute to Fenwick's academic excellence. For six decades, Roger Finnell '59 taught Fenwick students mathematics, coached the Math Competition Team, led 33 student trips to London and directed/produced more than 100 Blackfriars Guild Plays and productions. 

A generous alumnus has provided the leadership, innovation and funding to create this program, which will award four-year scholarships as follows:

  • St. Dominic Award

    $8,000/year for those testing in the 99th percentile ($32,000 total)
  • St. Thomas Aquinas Award

    $6,000/year for those testing in the 97th and 98th percentiles ($24,000 total)
  • St. Catherine of Siena Award

    $4,000/year for those testing in the 95th and 96th percentiles ($16,000 total)
